Divisions

  • BMS Asphalt Modified

    2016 Champion – John Cote

The “BMS” or Bethel Modified division is a limited cost, open wheel, pavement style modified class. The

rules have been formulated to encourage participation of cars from numerous similar divisions, with concessions designed to blend the different cars together in a single race with equal competition.

  • Dirt Sportsman

    2016 Champion – Kyle Redner

The Dirt Sportsman division is based on readily available dirt-style fabricated open wheel chassis with limited smallblock engines. There are many dirt tracks with similar classes, so these dirt style cars are plentiful and rules have been formulated to allow cars from numerous tracks to be competitive.

  • Legend – Pro/Master

    2016 Champion – Richie Coy

Legend Cars have become one of the fastest growing segments of motorsports today.  Drivers are classified into four different divisions, with the Pro division, Semi-Pro and Master division taking to the track together.  The Pro division is for the experienced driver and the Master Division features drivers over 40 years of age.

  • Legend – Young Lion/Semi-Pro

    2016 Champion – Gillian Kirkpatrick

Legend Cars have become one of the fastest growing segments of motorsports today.  Drivers are classified into four different divisions, with the Young Lion and Semi-Pro divisions taking to the track together.  The Young Lion division is for drivers between the ages of 12 and 16 and the Semi-Pro Division is a novice class for those above 16 years old.

  • Bandolero

    2016 Champion – Sean Verwys

The Bandolero car is a turnkey, spec series racer designed for drivers as young as eight years old and the young-at-heart at any age.  These cars power plant is provided by a thumping Briggs & Startton 570cc Vanguard engine mounted behind the driver.

  • Pro Stock

    2016 Champion – Kenny Atkins

The Pro-Stock division is a stock based class designed for more advanced racers, thus it allows more modifications and adjustments than other, more limited, stock classes. The Pro-Stock class is intended to attract cars built for the DIRT Pro-Stock division, Super Stock divisions and “Street Stock/Pure Stock” cars from tracks with much more liberal rules than Bethel’s.

  • Street Stock

    2016 Champion – Gary VanOrden

The Street Stock division is rigidly based on stock production type cars with limited eight cylinder engines. While not a “strictly stock” class like the 4-Cylinder division, Street Stocks must compete under strict guidelines to keep the cars performing and looking stock as well as controlling the costs. Bethel’s Street Stock rules have been written to coincide with the other nearby tracks’ rules as closely as possible, so as to encourage participation.

  • 4 Cylinder Pure Stock – Expert

    2016 Champion – Brian Bauernfeind

The 4 Cylinder division has been created as an affordable, entry-level class. The intention of the division is to allow beginners and those on extremely low budgets to participate easily and still be able to be competitive. All modifications made to the cars in this division must be for safety reasons only.
